High court rejects Bridgeport Diocese request...
The Diocese of Bridgeport is now considering an appeal to the United States Supreme Court. This after the Connecticut Supreme Court refused to reconsider a ruling that would make public details of alleged sexual abuse by priests. The original ruling in May ordered the 12,000 pages of legal documents opened.

Study in Boston suggests no foul play in funds...
According to a lengthy accounting study done on behalf of the Archdiocese of Boston, there is no money missing in the Clergy Benefit Trust.  However, the study does raise concerns about the appropriate controls in place for the trust.  The study also indicates that the trust will be out of money by 2011.
